Xabi Alonso ready for Arsenal?

There are reports this Wednesday morning that Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso is yet again back on the radar of Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger. Alonso is valued in the region of £10 million.

Rafa Benitez is known to be reluctant to let the player leave, but Alonso is keen to link up with one of his best friends, Cesc Fabregas in the Arsenal midfield.

It is believed the Gunners will make an offer for the midfielder in the first couple of weeks of July.
